On the whole the atmosphere and location were superb. Everyone was keen to get involved in all the offerings which added to the positive vibe. The event was situated in Millhouses Park, which is the doorstep of the Peak District National Park excellent venue for water sports, orienteering and being surrounded by nature.
Joe Simpson, patron to the event, said "It is really appropriate that Sheffield is hosting such a major event, as it is ideally placed to become the outdoor activities capital of this country".

As a spectator at The Cliffhanger Event it was inspiring to watch athletes across all ages compete to win their respective title and there was a common theme throughout the weekend promoting healthy living through staying active.
